KJ and Dan are having a hard time getting along. After years of strained relations, the couple head to a friend’s house for the weekend to rekindle their romance… and find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on how to deal with it, with KJ advocating for a quick death, while Dan suggests making the mouse’s last minutes as comfortable as possible. The couple compromise and move on, slowly finding their way to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is disrupted by the arrival of a petite woman who we can condescendingly call “eccentric” – she’s the younger sister of their host and had no idea anyone was staying in the family home. It’s okay if she collapses, right? While the couple does their best to keep this uninvited guest on top of their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this unpleasant third wheel could threaten more than just their relationship…
