Sawyer’s character was originally intended to be an older, slick, dress-wearing city street artist from Buffalo, NY. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line in his audition and then kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the Sawyer character, and decided to write Sawyer as a more Southern, dark drifter instead. Jin and Sun are married and "Kwon" becomes a major plot point in the final season.

The way the series has aged is amazing. Seeing it all over again made some of the stories make more sense. I also think the ending makes a lot more sense now.
It was something that completely blindsided me the first time I saw Lost
It’s a great series that paved the way for the beautiful landscape of high-quality TV series that we enjoy today.
